CECI Membership

The churches and the district, state and regional councils are the primary members of the CECI. And provision is made for individual churches from all denominations to become participatory members in the programs of the Council.

Membership Criteria for
Individual Churches

Minimum Requirements

  1. Pastor’s Age :  25 Years
  2. Pastor’s Ministry Experience :   05 Years
  3. Pastor’s Educational Qualification  :   10th
  4. Pastor’s Theological Qualification :     Certificate Level (C. Th. / C. Min.)
  5. Baptised believers in the Church : 25
  6. Age of the Church :  5 Years

Documents to be enclosed :

  1. 2 Passport Size Photographs of the Pastor
  2. Aadhar Card / Driving License of the Pastor
  3. Certificate of Secular Education of the Pastor
  4. Certificate of Theological Education of the Pastor
  5. Certificate of Ordination of the Pastor         
  6. Short Report of Church Ministry

Other Documents to be enclosed :

  1. Resolution from the Church Committee for Membership of CECI.
  2. Reference Letter from the Parent Church / Denomination / Organization .
  3. Certificate of Registration of Trust / Society / Company, if any.
  4. Order of Registration with Commissioner of Income Tax, if any.
  5. Certificate of Registration under FCRA, if any.

02. Annual Fee : Rs. 1,000=00
03. Monthly Contribution : Minimum Rs. 200=00
(CECI encourages to contribute free will offerings up to 2 % of church’s income.)
Note : Yearly renewal of CECI membership is calculated from the date of membership.
